our story

Sinds onze oprichting in 2011 is Oolaboo competent in huidverzorging. Vanaf 2013 bieden wij tevens een tweetal collecties haarverzorgingsproducten en een volledig haarkleursystem. Onze producten zijn ontwikkeld volgens recente wetenschappelijke inzichten en kwaliteitseisen, met doordachte combinaties van topkwaliteit grondstoffen, vervaardigd met veel eerbied voor onze huid, ons haar en onze gezondheid. Oolaboo is hiermee één van de sporadische professionele leveranciers met een volledig aanbod in huid- en haarverzorging onder één naam.

Een sponsoring van slechts 3 cent staat gelijk aan één liter schoon drinkwater! Daarom doneert Oolaboo 3 cent van ieder verkocht huid-of haarverzorgingsproduct aan Stichting Waterpas en helpt daarmee kinderen in Afrika aan schoon drinkwater.

Together with a group of international professionals – an innovative R & D with over 50 years of experience in the development of hair color products – Oolaboo has managed to get pure truffle oil stable in both permanent and semi-permanent hair color.

During the hair coloring process, pure truffle oil nourishes every hair fiber in an intensive way, the hair becomes silky, smooth and shiny like never before.

We are proud of the quality and safety of our color system – the first and only color system based on pure truffle oil – manufactured to stringent European and FDA guidelines.

Our micro pigments penetrate deeper into the hair. While other pigments seems like granules (sugar), our pure pigments are refined as dust (icing sugar). This ensures pure, shiny and uniform hair color, always looking and feeling healthy.
The development of hair color takes continuous exploration and emerges a sense of curiosity. As we walk through the colorful Dutch flower fields, the beautiful (rain) forests or other little, hidden vibrant places around the world, we are always looking for new color ideas, combinations and inspiration. Nature offers endless color inspiration and Oolaboo is offering you a palette inspired by living organisms in their colorful and natural environment. This collected material, combined with our on-going social, ethnic and visual research allows us to better understand the contemporary and upcoming changes in color favorites and hair color requests from consumers around the world.

looooming by Oolaboo is the personalised lifestyle magazine of the Oolaboo partners. It was created on behalf of the salons for their consumers. The first issue was published on 28 January 2014 in 15,000 copies. Blooooming is available from participating salons. It is an Oolaboo initiative about beauty in all its forms and will be published 3 times a year.
